Fuel Oil Generator Sets refer to the power generation device that uses combustible liquid as fuel to drive alternator with the liquid fuels internal combustion engine as prime mover, and convert mechanical energy into electrical energy. It is composed by of fuel oil engine, alternator and control system.
Fuel Oil also known as liquid fuel, including liquid fossil fuel, liquid biofuels and other pyrolysis oil, refers to any liquid (or liquefiable) substance that can be burnt to produce heat or power. Our generator sets can burn Light diesel oil, Heavy fuel oil, Crude oil, Tyre pyrolysis oil and liquid biofuels. In short, it is economical and environmentally friendly to choose the fuels that are easy to get and suitable for you. For more fuels information, please vist here: Liquid Fuels.
Classification of Fuel Oil Generator Sets, Our common classifications include:
1. According to different fuels, the fuel oil gensets can be classified into diesel generator sets, heavy fuel oil generator sets, liquid biofuels generator sets, and crude oil generator sets, etc.
2. According to engine speed, gensets can be classified into high-speed generator sets (speed > 1000 r/min), medium-speed generator sets (speed from 400 to 1000 r/min), low-speed generator sets (speed < 400 r/min).
Fuel oil gensets are widely used in industrial, mining, power stations, oil field, traffic, communication, construction and other fields. Fuel gensets in our business scope include: high speed four stroke fuel gensets, which power range from 10 kW to 4,000 kW. Medium speed four stroke fuel gensets, which power range from 0.4 MW ~ 22.3 MW. Low speed two stroke gensets, which power range from 6.5 MW ~ 78 MW.
