Various types of wastewater generated by power plants and ships, including domestic sewage, oily sewage, and sludge. Due to their different composition properties, various combination processes are often required for treatment to meet relevant emission standards.
The waste water system of the Power Station has to treat oily polluted waste water from all new foreseen/erected buildings and installations. All waste water has to be treated to such a quality that it can be discharged.
The oily waste water system shall collect and treat oily waste water from different sources in the plant, like:
1. Machine house drainage;
2. Power house drainage;
3. Auxiliary systems area drainage;
4. Workshop;
5. Fuel treatment area drainage;
6. Fuel unloading station;
7. Fuel supply piping in pipe culverts;
8. Water from separator sludge;
9. Transformers area.
For oily waste water the oil content will be < 10 ppm Oily waste water treatment system complete, including at least:
1. Sump pumps for the Oily water collecting pits, with level indicators and oily water level alarm sensors;
2. One oily water separating system, sized to threat the waste water resulting from the above mentioned areas and to separate the oil, equipped with a sludge separator, a self closing oil trap and an oil detector at the outlet and all associated equipment;
3. Complete electrical and instrumentation installation to local control panels of the oily waste water treatment system.
